Director Biography – Edwin El Bainou (THE OPEN WATER SWIM TRAVERSE)


Edwin El Bainou is a young filmmaker. He’s mostly pulling out stories from daily life events, showing humanity at its most natural habitat, linking its existence and growth with Mother Nature, and somehow in a relatively hard, and dangerous environments.
He’s always worked as a one-man-film crew, director, sound designer, sound mixer, and a cinematographer in feature films, commercials, and short films for the last 8 years.
He’s on a constant pursue of adventures, finding a story in daily life events.

Director Biography – Nicholas Julius (THE DEVIL GOES DOWN)

Nicholas Julius is a NY based, Actor/Writer/Director/Filmmaker. Nicholas’s film, “The Devil Goes Down” starring Boardwalk Empire and The Wire’s Michael Kenneth Williams has been accepted into 109 Film festivals and has won 36 awards. His latest animated film, “Erin, Owen, and the Loch Ness Monster” is the 1st film of The Mythatania series and is the opening his novel, “Mythatania -The Adventures of Erin, Owen and the Mythfitz.” It has made 18 FF’s and won 12 awards.

Nicholas has written eight feature scripts, two television pilots, and one sitcom.

Nicholas was an actor as Al Capone’s right hand man, Gino, on Boardwalk Empire for 5 seasons, where he worked both in front of and behind the camera while he learned and honed his directorial skills. He has appeared in many more TV shows and feature films.
Nicholas’s company, Long Way Home Productions is in prep for two short films in 2020.

Short Film: THE DEVIL GOES DOWN, 10min,. USA, Sports/Fantasy


The Devil challenges a young man to a game of basketball. The stakes? What is in the Devil’s bag against the young man’s soul.

The film is PROOF OF CONCEPT for the feature script, “On a Field of Legends.” In OAFOL a young man challenges Death to a football game for his daughter’s life. FIELD OF DREAMS meets IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE.
This is what I did with basketball. OAFOL is what I can do with football.
